I knew that I had skilled and worked for clients. and I find the clients but they asked about your experience. Then I think its too tough for me to find clients . Before get your first client, get these things ready:
- Choose a skill:
Beginners starting with a multiple skills this is very wrong way to do starting work. It create workload with a lot of confusion. You don’t get a results in all. You choose only 1 to 2 skills and make pro in 1 to 2 skills.
With my personal experience, Start with Social Media Management or Meta Ads, as they are in high demand and yield quick results for clients.
- Build a portfolio:
All clients first ask send your portfolio. Beginners think that I have no portfolio and not understand what is portfolio. portfolio is your previous work like you handle a Instagram page. Initially, for portfolio you need to work free for family, friends, relative. Case studies—what you did and the results achieved Create a simple PDF portfolio using Canva or build a basic website.
- Decide on your services and set your pricing:
Clearly define what you will offer and at what price to your client. I Suggested pricing for beginners: Social Media Management: ₹3,000 – ₹8,000 per month
Meta Ads Management: ₹2,000 – ₹5,000 per month (service fee, excluding ad budget)
Content Writing: ₹200 – ₹500 per blog post

I get my first client through my network—an event and wedding hospitality company in Rajasthan called K2 Hospitality. I contact them after reviewing their Instagram and suggested ways to improve their presence. first I create them a post and reel. They like my work. Then We developed a content strategy and calendar, then began posting regularly according to niche. I created Reels, tagged venues, and collaborated with wedding planners . They started seeing results, and they are permanent client . Working with that first client helped me build a portfolio and increase my confidence.
