Meta Ads vs. Google Ads:
This confusion is very common. The simple difference is:
Google Ads — Appear when someone searches for something on Google; the customer is already looking for something.
Meta Ads — Appear when someone is scrolling; you reach the customer without them actively searching for it.
Both have their own advantages. For beginners, Meta Ads are easier and more affordable.
My Real Experience:
I have personally run Meta Ads for my own stationery store. It was my first time running ads and I was not sure if it would work. I set a very small budget — just 100 rupees per day. I created a simple image ad on Canva showing my stationery products and targeted people in Jaipur who were interested in stationery, students and small businesses.
The results surprised me. Within a few days I got 12 leads — and the total cost was only 100 rupees. That means each lead cost me less than 10 rupees. That is the power of Meta Ads targeting. If I had put a banner outside my shop, I would have spent thousands of rupees and would not have been able to track a single result.
This experience made me realize that Meta Ads is not just for big companies with big budgets. Even a student or a small business owner can run effective ads with a very small budget and get real results.
Conclusion:
Meta Ads is currently the most powerful tool in digital marketing. Whether your business is small or large, Meta Ads allows you to reach your exact target audience on a very limited budget. While organic marketing is important, learning Meta Ads is essential if you want quick results.
Start with a small budget—say, 100 rupees a day—create a simple ad, observe the results, learn, and keep improving. This is the best way to master Meta Ads.
